“The EFCC wishes to advise Nigerians that it has arrested five individuals for allegedly impersonating its operatives. The suspects are said to have been arrested in Delta State under the command of a fake Efcc official who claimed that he was acting on orders from his superiors in Abuja.

“The fake Efcc operative had been using social media channels to advertise services such as money laundering, suspicious transactions among other scams which can be easily avoided if one knows how they work.”
